In reference to AYSAD (the Lift and Escalators Industrialists’ Association) statistics, almost 500 thousand of the 15 million lifts around the world are in Turkey. Each year 800 thousand new lifts are installed around the world and 5% of those are in Turkey. Carrying 50 million, the Turkish lift sector has around 3 thousand lift installation companies. While 75% of manufacturing is done by domestic lift companies, the share of companies with overseas investment is 25%. The lift sector is worth billions of Lira based on its production and trade volume. All the newest innovations in the lift industry will be showcased at the fair at Tüyap İstanbul.
Asansör İstanbul, organized by Tarsus Türkiye and supported by AYSAD, is one of the top 3 events of it’s kind worldwide and will host the industry leaders on its 16th edition. Once again there will be German and Chinese pavilions at the fair. 400 companies will be attending, including international brands from 30 different countries like Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, Spain, Sitzerland, Lebanon, Egypt and Russia and key domestic manufacturers. Smarter, quicker, and more secure lifts will be showcased, as well as the newest products, machineries, equipment and Technologies in different categories from residence and commercial building lifts to hospital lifts, from in-house lifts to platforms, to goods and service lifts, to escalators and moving walks and particularly package lifts.

AYSAD, the Lift and Escalators Industrialists’ Association, has prepared a “Global Turkish Brands in the Lift Industry: Survey and Suggestions” report at the request of the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, AYSAD sees fairs as important events for companies to build their brand reputation globally. AYSAD Chairman Sefa Targıt commented, “domestic and national exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase their new technology on a global scale at the fair’s 16th edition”.
