Tarsus Turkey announces a change in the opening date for International Asansor Istanbul.
One of the three most influential exhibitions in the world, Asansor Istanbul is organized with the support of AYSAD (the Elevator and Escalator Industrialists Association).
Discussing the new fair dates, Zekeriya Aytemur, General Manager of Tarsus Turkey, said, “The new date for International Asansor Istanbul is expected to coincide with a more managed pandemic, as vaccines and preventative measures take effect. At this time, postponed demand will be overwhelming, and our exhibitors will find unique trade opportunities both in Turkey and abroad.” Aytemur emphasized that the pandemic had driven significant strategic changes in global supply chains, as buyers move away from dependence on a single country, and that this development delivers advantages for manufacturer and exporter companies in Turkey. He added that companies participating in the Fair will find solid footing in the renewed supply chains.
Tarsus Turkey General Manager Zekeriya Aytemur shared that, in order to successfully organize the fair, they have been following the pandemic process closely both at home and globally from the very beginning. He said: “In recent months, with the start of the vaccination process around the world, it is projected that a significant vaccination rate will be achieved before the spring months and that the impact of the pandemic will be lessened. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) also announced the details of its new study on safe travel. Following these developments, we will most likely enter a different phase in the spring months of 2022. To guarantee the success of Asansor Istanbul 2022, and after feedback from our sector stakeholders and AYSAD, we will hold the Fair in March rather than July.”
Aytemur: “2022 will be a year of opportunities for the lift sector”
Aytemur notes, “During periods of global crises like this, companies have short- and long-term strategies. Companies with the right strategies will have a stronger place in the market once the crisis is over. Taking part in the 2022 Fair will move Asansor Istanbul exhibitors into stronger positions in the local and international markets in the short and long term.” He added that, as Tarsus Turkey, they are fully prepared for the Fair in March.
Aytemur also shared that, in addition to the global visitor studies carried out – especially for the Europe and MENA regions – after Asansor Istanbul 2019, the Company will launch the Overseas Buyer Program for Asansor Istanbul 2022. Previously implemented for other Tarsus Turkey Fairs with phenomenally successful results, Aytemur described the Overseas Buyer Program. “With this program, high budget buyers from abroad, who have direct purchasing authority, will be coming to Turkey to conduct one-on-one trade talks with Asansor Istanbul exhibitors. Additionally, our buyers will also have the opportunity to see the newest products from hundreds of domestic and foreign customers, meet new suppliers, and follow the latest developments in the sector. As well, exhibitors can meet one-on-one with leading players at one of the sector’s most important global events. In summary, the 2022 meeting presents unique trading opportunities for the entire lift industry”.
